Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to eCryptex Vault for iOS.

Local Vault Model

The core vault is designed for local device storage. Records and imported files are intended to remain on your iPhone unless you explicitly export, share, back up, or sync them.

eCryptex Vault does not require a cloud account for the core vault.

Information You Add

You choose what to store in the app, including documents, photos, media, messages, directives, website records, password records, trusted-contact details, notes, folders, and metadata.

Biometrics

Face ID and biometric checks are handled by iOS. The app does not receive your biometric data.

Sharing and Export

If you export, share, or send files outside the app, those files are controlled by the destination app, service, recipient, or storage location you choose.

Deletion

Deleting records in the app removes them from the local vault. Deleting the app may remove local vault data unless it has been backed up, exported, or synced by a feature you enabled.
